Hessle Road NX Panel

We are proud to have been part of the successful commissioning of the new Hessle Road NX Panel, marking another major milestone for the network.

This commissioning has not only delivered a new modern signallers console but has also given opportunity for the reintroduction of the 6(2) route, restoring operational flexibility and resilience in a critical area. Bringing this route back into service required close collaboration across signalling, testing and operations and it’s a real credit to everyone involved that it was achieved safely and smoothly.

The works also included the conversion of the final remaining DCR5 relays in the area to modern equivalents, completing the transition away from legacy relay technology.

This represents a significant step forward in terms of reliability, maintainability, and long-term sustainability, reducing failure risk and future support challenges.
